Welcome to Weave, a local allied health practice nestled in Mildura, Victoria. Our practice is led by Chris Simms, a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist. Chris, along with his wife Siobhan and their beloved greyhound Mavis made Mildura their home in 2020 and have embraced the charm of this beautiful region.

Meet Chris Simms

Chris holds a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science and a Master of Occupational Therapy, graduating from the University of Canberra in 2016. With 8 years of experience in the community setting, Chris possesses significant experience in home modifications, equipment prescription, and NDIS assessments. He is particularly passionate about helping individuals in wheelchairs, with advanced training in seating assessment, design, and prescription. Chris has attended professional development events such as the Oceania Seating Symposium (2024) and the Australian Assistive Technology Conference (2022), with multiple other PD activities completed to enhance his skills in seating and positioning.

Beyond the Practice

Outside of his professional life, Chris enjoys running, mountain biking, playing video games, and supporting the local footy. He also cherishes spending quality time with family and friends.
